I am having extremely hard time selcting what leather I want my next Wested to be.

I already have an authentic lambskin and thinking about getting the dark lamb this time.

So, any of you good guys who own both can you please post photos side by side for comparison?

I will be indebted. Thanks.

My Wested is Dark Brown Lampskin, I´ll post some pics, you know, as soon as I have my camera back.

But It is my favorite colour, I can just advise it :!:

We need authentic brown and dark brown together in the same picture to fully illustrate the color difference!

Dark Brown.

No, they're no laying directly on each other but both were taken under the same lighting conditions with the same flash setting and with the same camera. I think you can get the picture. One thing of note is that the authentic lamb is highly disrtressed to match the film while the dark brown is not. School of Michaelson.

That's the closest I got to getting the colour looking like it looks to me. Might be a touch 'warm' it was taken in late afternoon.

Authentic lamb.

KT, THAT is a nice grain on your jacket. Probably as close to a tight grained goatskin in appearance as I've ever seen on a lambskin jacket.

HIGH regards! Michaelson

Baes on the photos so far I think I will go for a dark lamb.

If I can see a photo comparison of a new (not distressed) auth. vs a dark lamb that would be great. Ideally, if these two come from the same person and the photos are taken under the same light conditions that would be great too.

Thank you.

And they wonder why we get obsessed with each type of leather! :)

agent5, I don't want to be ungrateful 'cause I can see you really tried to help. Thank you! Unfortunately no picture with flash will show us true color. Even your distressed, authentic lamb doesn't look like it. I am sure you can see it yourself. Only daylight would do :(
Kt Templar! Yes, this is great catch of authentic lamb's color which I wear everyday (though, mine is distressed a bit). I wonder how dark lamb would look in a daylight...

Well, let's face it, we've seen to many examples of BAD leather over the years....it's nice to see a really nice one appear on radar every now and again.
