I was wondering if anyone had tried using any of the Pecard products on Nubuck or Suede and what effect it had, particularly shoes or jackets and trim.
Thank you
It's not recommended

I've used it on deerskin, which is about as close to those two mentioned types of leather as I could come, and I sweat bullets until it finally 'settled' in. It will not absorb the dressing very well, if at all. Best route to go is a spray type product such as Scotchgard for leather for these type materials. Regards. Michaelson

I've always heard that using a dressing like Pecard's on suede or nubuck will "seal the nap" so that it loses its original texture. But I've never tried it. Be careful!!

Most leather conditioners will make suede and nubuck into a smooth leather for a while. They come back in time, but some may stay smooth.
Just a quick followup

On the back of every bottle of Pecards product we use around here, it specifially states 'Do NOT use on Suede or like leather finishes'. There's the official answer. Regards. Michaelson
