Just wanted to say how much I enjoy this forum, I have been reading post here for the past month or so and have gathered tons if info. I ordered my jacket from Wested Nov. 10th and here is what I ordered:

Last Crusade jacket - dark lambskin
80's fit
X-box stitching
Raiders pockets

I will post pics as soon as it arrives, do you guys think it may be a little bit longer to come in since it is the holiday season? I would love to have it sometime next month but we will see.
Oh and I was also curious, I was thinking about ordering a 2nd Wested and was actually considering a black one does anyone have pics of one because I'm curious as to how it looks in black.

With luck you can have it by Christmas, but I doubt it. I can be wrong of course, mine took two weeks from order to door.

Sorry...don't have 'pic's'...but, for what it is worth, I own two Wested Black Jackets -- Black Lamb (LC) and a Black Goat (ROLA)...both are perfect and wonderful! It is a nice change, from time-to-time, to wear the Black as opposed to the browns (which are still my favorites)...wore the Goat yesterday to Thanksgiving with the family -- touch is great -- grain is suburb and weight is perfet! Don't know what else to tell you, but if you want a Black-one, Peter and crew will not do you wrong, no matter which 'hide' you order! Just my 'two-cents'. W>

welcome to the madness! if your order is pretty standard (ie no special requests), it should be about a month or less. mine had some special requests and therefore took almost 2 months.

good choice with going with wested. i have a lamb and a goat and the quality of jacket that you get for the price is unbelievable.

Welcome davefelker! Just for a bit of info I ordered my jacket in late October and I don't have it yet. The latest e-mail from Wested is that they are really backup with a lot of orders right now, so it maybe a while before you get your jacket...but it will be worth the wait!

ah, the excitement of getting a new jacket this time of year. It was around this time last year that I ordered my Wested horsehide. Now I'm thinking about a goatskin. We'll see if Peter is able to bag some goats some time soon.

Thanks guys for all the responses, also special thanks to Scandinavia Jones for the pic of the black jacket. I think I might really look into getting one of the black jackets just for something different, plus nothing wrong with 2 Wested's right? Just hope my wife will think the same! I'm getting antsy waiting on the jacket because I keep reading all these posts and seeing everyones pics,
