I have received yesterday my HH Raiders Jacket and now I really don't like my first LC auth. lambskin jacket anymore. Ok I thought about selling it at ebay but then I remembered that the LC lamb fits my father perfectly. My father is a bit smaller then I, so I gave it to my father. That's why I have opened this thread. I need a new LC jacket! Which leather should I choose? I don't want the lamb again. I would more like Goat or maybe Cow. No HH because I already have a Raiders HH ^^
Inputs are very welcome. Which sliders should I take? D-Rings or Rectangular? So it should be screen accurate as possible.

It pretty much depends on how much weight you're willing to put up with. The cowhide in any form (short of the lambtouch cowhide) is physically heavy.
Goatskin, on the other hand, is not, and yet goatskin is SO much stronger in terms of tensile strength, as well as has natural water resistance....I'd highly recommend a goatskin version, deciding on one of the two types you list above.

As to slider, goatskin will hold either in place, so that's your call. Most folks like the rectangular version, but the D ring is correct to the LC jacket.

For that screen accurate Tin Man look......Im not sure you could put it in the dryer to soften it up.

Thanks again guys. _ I really love my HH. But my shoulders won't forgive me a second heavy hide like the horse
So I think I do it Michaelson's way.
But in the LC movie the jacket looks sometimes really lightweight. In the one scene with indys father at the beach. Maybe because of the heavy distressing. BTW should I get the X-Box stitching? I believe the LC jacket was without it.

Does anbody know if the LC Jacket had shorter side straps as the raiders?
