An additional shirt for consideration...

While putting together my costume for this past Halloween, I ordered one of these from Bill's Khakis (www.billskhakis.com). They're a little pricey, but extremely well put together. These are similar to the other "outdoors" shirts (Cabela's, etc.), and are American-made. The pockets are authentic-looking, as are the buttons. True, no epaulets, nor the additional shirt-front detail, but these aren't costume shirts, either. Khaki would be one color close to what we usually look for, but stone would probably be more screen-authentic. They run huge (I normally wear Larges, but had to send back my first in return for a Medium, which I'm still somewhat swimming in...). One more to add to the Gear Shirt page, perhaps?
The following is quoted from the shirt's page:
While carrying the world on their shoulders, millions of Americans have already put this shirt to the ultimate field test. It remains as perfect today as it did fifty years ago. With two button flap, pleated front pockets, double needle stitching throughout, ivory horn buttons and thick all cotton poplin, this shirt represents everything you have come to expect from our brand. As rare a find as our khakis themselves. Distressed with our soft, broken down, "Blue Label" finishes.
Sizes:
medium (16" x 34")
large (16.5" x 35")
x-large (17" x 36")
xx-large (18" x 37.5")
PRICE: $75

SHIRT COLORS:
Khaki
Stone
Olive
British Khaki
(Color swatches at the web page)
Anyone else familiar with Bill's products. Very cool (both looking and wearing) and durable--but expensive. Think of them as gourmet khaki wear (but then again, we're used to the finer clothes in life, aren't we?).
