I'm interested in picking one up, but was curious on the measurements. I am reading on here that some like this bag compared to the MKVII because it has more pockets. Does it have the same measurements (width, length, depth) as the MkVII? Or is it a little bigger?
Thanks!
What are hte measurements of the MKVI bag?

Sizes of box respirator cases
There is no difference between the size of a typical Mark Vl and a typical Mark Vll gas mask bag. There is often more variance between two Mark Vlls then between a typical Mark Vll and a Mark Vl. See thread: viewtopic.php?t=18494
The Mark Vl is typically 10 inches wide x 9 1/2 inches high x 3 inches deep. The main difference between a Mark Vl and a Mark Vll (apart from the strap) is the extra pockets on the front, intended to take the eyeshields, etc. These are useful for carrying a map, GPS or mobile phone etc. outside the main compartment. The main compartment has a full width pocket for the gas cape, and two compartments (one slightly larger than the other) for the can and mask, much like a Mark Vll. Most Mark Vls, however, don't have the small pocket for the anti-dimming kit, which gives it a bit more room.
As more Mark Vls were actually issued (as opposed to being made, put into stores and then 'surplused') it is harder to find them in unissued condition. On the other hand, a Mark Vl is more likely to have 'seen action'.
