I just finished my first rooskin Bullwhip. It is 5 ft long, 12 plait overlay and also have a piece of snakeskin worked into it. I cought the snake by hand on a survival trip a few years ago and it tasted good. I decided to use a piece of its skin on my first real bullwhip. Here are the first pictures. Can't wait to hear your comments on this one:
I know, the pictures are not the best, but I will make a few more tomorrow

good job, I like the little snakeskin part, and the fact that it has history behind it makes all the more unique

Snakes, why did it have to be snakes?
Great job! I thought I'd beat others to the punch on that one. Very beautiful work. A friend of mine keeps telling me I should make one.

I like the lighter area at the bottom of the Turk's Head.

me too
The lighter arrea is of vegtable tanned cowhide. I use it for punching my maker's initials and serial number. This on is whip No. 6. No, every whip I'll make gets a serial number.
