 Yes they sure are cool. I sure would be open to a Wooden Webley...just a stained version to display in a shadow box. Do you think he would be open to commisions?

Wood Webley

Post by Indy45 »

Dutch,

My compliments to your craftsman friend.

I chuckle to think about all the gun laws countries continue to pass that mainly keep nice real examples and replicas out of the hands of the law-abiding taxyers, and here your friend carves them out of wood!!

Tone, I agree that 2nd rifle is the Ripley Aliens assault rifle (grenade launcher and round counter give it away).

Dutch - I don't think the 1st rifle is Starship Troopers, those rifles were converted Ruger 1022s - but what is it?

Please post photos of the completed Webley MkVI!

Here's one of the real thing:

hey ,

the first rifle is from a colonial marines guide book or something....

i dont know if he'd be open to commisions but think of it shipping a gun replica from holland to the usa.... you'll never get the thing...

The webley is coming out GREAT! How much does it cost you? Does it have anything to increase the weight? Could I get one aswell?

It's lookin' good, but it looks a little small :? Is it to scale? Or do the pics just make it look small? How long is the barrel, it should be a 6 inch.

Even still to take this approach or have it made is so innovative.
