Dry Cleaning a Wested

Hey all, just wondering. Has anyone here ever had their Wested, or for that matter, any leather jacket, dry cleaned?
The label inside my Wested says "Professional Dry Clean Only", so I assume it's safe. I'm just worried about color run, or any other damage that may ensue, due to the dry cleaning process.
What was the outcome? Change in feel? Color? Fit?

I've had my Auth Lamb dry cleaned and it came back great. I was concerned when I dropped it off because of a caution sign they had in the window 'Leather may shrink'. I didn't noticed any shrinkage in the leather and the jacket felt awesome.

Years ago, when I had a Leather Consessionaires jacket, I had taken it to the cleaners who, in turn, sent it to whomever they use to clean leather jackets. I had spent considerable time aging it and when it came back it looked brand new! That was the only problem I had. As a rule though I don't have my Indy jackets cleaned unless it's raining!

Best find a leather cleaning specialist. I, too, made the mistake of taking an A2 flight jacket to my local dry cleaners, who in turn forwarded it on to a 'so called' cleaner in Nashville. Bottom line....jacket was shrunk a full size.

There are honest to gosh specialists in the field. I vaguely remember Gibson and Barnes making a recommendation once, but I can't remember who they said. You might want to touch bases with their customer service and see if they can offer a name as to who THEY'D recommend, since they're Stateside.
