Indy Pants Help

Post by Indiana Neri »

Does anyone know who makes the "best" off-the-rack Indy-pants, preferably without a permanent crease? I'm going nuts looking for Indy close-enoughs but every pair that I have owned has a permanent crease down the legs. I had a pair of the LL Bean's in Taupe but somehow they ripped in the back near the pocket. Any help would be much appreciated.

Did your pair of LL Bean's also have the permanent crease? I believe they also sell them without said crease, and with the back flap pocket instead of the button-through. As always, color may be an issue though.

Yeah they had the perm-crease. I found them at one of the outlet-stores, so it wasn't like they had a whole lot to choose from. The only other pair that they had at the time was a size waaayyyy to big for me  .

I had a few pairs of LL Bean wool trousers in taupe and all I did to get the crease out was to put them in a tub of cold water for a while. I've also hung them on a clothes line and soaked them with a garden hose as well. If you're not going with wool trousers, I don't know what to tell you.
