Hey gang,

I cannot believe how lucky I am!!! Got the most awesome fiancé, who I'll marry soon, am part of Adventurebilt Hat Co. and now this: this is the last bullwhip Pagey made and it was given to me from a dear friend of mine

It is absolutely beautyfull, light, fast, loud and dense. The 9' are absolutely great to work with for me, as I alway considered the 8' a bit on the short side (even though screen accurate) and had troubles to get descent cracks out of a 10'. So I couldn't be happier with this one.

Here it is, before he modifyed it:

and after (that's the way I received it):

Thanks a million for the whip my friend and thanks to Pagey for making this beauty, that I truly treasure.

Regards,

Marc

Nice whip, although the handle pattern seems a bit off.

I dont think the handle is off one bit. It looks like the 80's david morgan dead on.

Take a look at this picture of the screen used whip
And I even like the color :D

Pagey has owned four DMs, two Bernados, several Strains and heck knows what. And he's CERTAINLY done his homework when it comes to analyzing the details of a screen accurate Raiders whip and the craftmanship is top notch as well. The ONLY thing missing, is that lil' piece of extra leather at the end of the loop, but since that's not even on all whips seen on screen, I hardly could care less.

I'm one happy camper, as my extreme pickyness couldn't find anything to complain about on this whip. The only thing that saddens my hard, is that this is his last whip for good :(

Now if only it would stop raining

Marc

It´s a real beauty. But why doesn´t Pagey make whips any more?

I think there were various reasons that made him take that decission, with one of them wanting to spend more time with his family. I really can't blame him for that, as I know EXACTLY what it feels like to have a full time job and then to spend another 4-5 hours a day making gear.

But at the current time I just love MY hobby too much to give it up. I had hoped, it would have been the same with Pagey, as he really has a great talent.

Marc

Ah yes, you're correct. The shine was throwing me a bit off.
