Could this be a Poet?

I was browsing through ebay looking for Herbert Johnson hats, when I found this one that is described as a "ladies hat" that cost over 300 pounds when bought from retail. Thing is, when I look at the picture, it REALLY looks to me like an HJ Poet with an open crown. Based on this pic, what do you guys think?

The crown looks really straight and indy like. Unfourtunatly, the brim looks like it's been trimed too much or it would be cool to have.

I agree on the brim, but that definitely doesn't look like any woman's hat I've ever seen... :junior: -IJ

The color and crown looks very nice, but the brim is about 3/4 mile too short.

It reminds me of one of those ladies hats from the 20s-30s worn with the bow in the front. The box doesn't look that old, though and an HJ certainly didn't cost that much back in those days.

... plus I asked the owner what size it is and he/she told me "One size fits all"

Yeah, that's what it said in the auction too. It has to be SOME size. It's not elasctic.
