For so long, my computer was giving me problems and I couldn`t get photos on..well, I think I solved it! Even though this hat is currently being re-blocked here is what she looked like in her prime....

That last picture is cool, I like the color of the pants with the rest of the stuff...it's just a good look and even with the black boots. That jacket is Lambskin, no? OOps, I didn't mention how great that hat looks, I love it!

Great hat, Gorak! I particularly like the good picture of the back... thank you for that. It really boosts my confidence about my forthcoming AB!

Also, I too would like to know which jacket you have on in the group shot. Hide choice, distressing (if any), and manufacturer? If it's a Wested, which "style" is it?

Also I would also give my compliments on that second photo, with the whip extended out of frame like that, way coooool.

Oh yea, sounds like you sent it out? For a re-block, what style/scene/bash the list goes on.  nudge nudge.

Is it a 90 degree turn G? Maybe Ford's head goes from long to round, depending on how high he wears it on his sloped forehead?

Thanks everyone for the kind words. Makes me miss my baby that much more.
The two single shots are of my AB. I have to 'turn' it COMPLETELY sideways to get the swoop. All of those pics are of a hat turned completely sideways. When I put the AB on when it first arrived, the brim looped and looked exactly like the Nazi spy on the airplane hat brim. My head is very round or actually wide from ear to ear for fedoras. So I turn them completely sideways and I get the swoop like that. The problem is that I lost some 'hat' up in the corners of the dents and when viewed from the sideangles..it was very obvious. I lived with it for a while but it always bothered me. Then I got the silly idea that I could make a block and tried to block my own hat..hoping to stretch it out alittle up in the front curve from sides to the top. Well, needless to say, I didn`t do a great job and ended up messing up my hat. That`s why it is being reblocked by Fedora right now.
In the group photo, I have on my old hat from peterbros...the Allessandria. That is the style of fedora. It comes with a bound brim and small ribbon but the wonderful crew at Peterbros so many years ago, cut the brim down to 2 3/4`s all the way around and changed the ribbon. Until my AB, I loved that hat. It was extremely soft and oh-so comfy. And it held up for many years. I only gave it up after I recieved my AB. I reshaped the old hat into a porkpie styled crown and now, with so much distress, it has definitely mushroomed and the swoop is so natural.
My jacket in the pics is my Flightsuits Raiders jacket. It is Lambskin and I have had it for about over 4 years. It is only now starting to show slight signs of distress along the arms and chest but I have put this thing thru alot, sleeping in it, rain, snow, heat, thorns, motorcycle crash, car repairs, yardwork, wineing and dining the wife, wrestling with pets, wrestling with kids....lots and lots of action and it has held up wonderfully. I love it.
I am looking for more of my pictures on my disks and will share them as I find them...
Thanks again for looking and talking....

Definately like the shot with the whip. The selective focus adds intrigue. The hat looks greaat and nice looking family too.

this is the one I was most happy with except that I need to get rid of that background.......

If I knew how to move myself out of the background, I would use this for my avatar pic.

Just make sure you size your photo to the correct sizing when you post another avatar. Your last one was WAY to large.
