Break-in time

Post by Strider »

Not too long ago, I was chatting to someone from here on MSN Messenger about whips, and they told me it's typical for a roo hide whip to be somewhat stiff when you first get it. I wasn't really ready for that, because my IOAB was as flexible as ever when I first got it, so it was quite a change. The person I was talking to told me that comparing a cowhide whip to a roohide whip was like apples and oranges, and they know their stuff, so I believe them.

How long does it usually take for a roohide whip break in and not be so stiff anymore? Any tips?
