Using Pecards with brown tint

For those of you that have used the Pecards with brown tint to darken leather, have any of you had any trouble with the color coming off on other stuff? I recently redyed a pair of boots, and the dye keeps coming off on the cuffs of my pantlegs (and on my tuckus when I sit on my heels!). I want to darken my belt a bit, but not if it going to rub off on my pants!

I've used brown tint Pecards on my seal A-2 jacket. No problem with it VISIBLY rubbing off since it soaked in and I wiped it well with a soft cloth. I suppose I might have been able to see something shortly after application if I sat on something pure white.

I did a pair of boots with it. 4 coats to darken them up quite a bit and still no rub off.

Brown pecards is the only thing I haven't had a problem with rubbing off on things. Just let it soak in over a day or so and wipe any excess off.
You might try putting pecards on the dyed leather to try and seal it also. Might help at least.

I don't know why I've never had this problem. I've used brown Pecards on my Aldens lots of times. I usually do it when I get home for the evening, and then don't wear them again until the next day when I'm ready to go out. By that time, it's all dry, and good to go.

Brown Pecards is not a dye. It's just standard Pecards that has a brown tint to help blend into the brown of the leather you're rehydrating.
You're supposed to buff it completely off after it's had time to soak in. If you're leaving enough on the surface to rub off, you're either using WAY to much, or you're not buffing the area after application and soak-in is complete.
Like Strider, I've NEVER had this rub off.....same with the black. If you're doing the whole job, there's nothing TO rub off.
