We already saw the S&W: M10 Military / Police .38 SPECIAL but this is the blank fire version.

I should check but by the way we don't need any document to own a blank fire gun. Trekkin lovers sometimes have them for close encounters of the third kind with wild dog packs.

Consider that we cannot buy guns in a supermarket like you do in the USA so theorically very few people have guns and so few limitations about them. Whatever doesn't really shoot bullet is considered sport weapon or toy (blank fire guns are not different). I can buy air soft guns as toys in any toy shop (they have red paint on them anyway).

Great find! Can that piece around the grip come off? It looks like it could, it would be one of the best "functional" replica out there if that piece does come off.

In the review that was posted, it listed all the metal parts of the gun. The finger groove attachment was on that list. The reviewer also stated that the gun needed to be periodically disassembled and cleaned. This makes me believe that the finger groove attachment can be removed. Now if a lanyard ring can be attached, it would look perfect.

I am sure some body around here will end up buying this gun. When they do, I am sure we will find out the answers.

Yea, it looks like a standard grips adapter. I'd say it can be removed without too much trouble.

I've modified a lot of air-softguns over the last 15 years and have yet to see a gun that couldn't have a lanyard ring attached one way or a the other. On this gun it should be a piece of cake, the handle will most likely be very similar to a real S&W handle.

For a more professional answer...blank fire guns are classified for the Italian Law as "Acoustic Signal Instrument" which (for another paragraph of the law) can be assimilated to the definition of "toy guns". You don't need any licence to bring and to store them. They can be sold as normal toys since they are not weapons and they cannot be turned into weapons.

As a matter of fact b-f guns are sold normally on ebay-italy. If they were illegal ebay would have never allowed those auctions...

We have lanyard rings on the ones at The Jungle Cruise. We have to keep them on the boats. I wish we could wear them in holsters on our hips!

Yup, I agree. I couldn't say for sure, but I don't think it would be too hard to do. Of course, I'm also the guy that works on a pocket watch with a ball pein hammer.
