.......Howdy y'all. Just wanted to post a quick "intro" and let y'all know what a "bad" influence you have been on me...

Been lurking for a while reading thru many of your threads picking up some very good info and ideas. I can't claim to be an "IndyGear" afficianado as most of you are, BUT I have already made a special visit to Wal-Mart (pants), Dillards (pants), Old Navy (shirt).......been fortunate in picking up an old AB from one of your longtime members and liked it so much that I am already working with Steve on having another one made!
Oh, and to top it off you guys gave me a great idea for a "carry-on" bag for an upcoming trip to Utah.....I went by my local Army/Navy surplus store and picked up an old "Ammo bag" which, even though it is not "Indy accurate", will serve my purpose very well.

I'll try to post some pictures over the upcoming days. In the meantime, thanks again for providing a great source of info.

Welcome aboard! It sounds like you've got a great Indy setup with what you've just acquired. There are those of us who love "close enouugh" gear. Besides, it's not what you have, but how you wear it!

That's what I love about these guys. There's so very little elitism here and so much encouragement and acceptance.
