Hi all,

I dont post that often, but stop in here from time to time.

I was at my local old navy and purchased a shirt that *I think* (I, of course, defer to the eperts herein) has many features of the Indy shirt for only $24.50

Below is a pic as well as a link to purchase it online:

it's 11:18AM EST, I am starting a pool as how long it takes VP to post the link to the discussion about this shirt from a few weeks ago.

I say 'within the hour'.

A good find, agreed, Sean...if you look, we have talked about this shirt, and its qualities recently.

Yep, just get out a razor blade and carefully remove that arm pocket and you are quite close! :)

Good find for $24.50

That's actually not a bad close enough shirt, even though it's missing epaulets. The arm pocket doesn't necessarily bother me; what's it for anyway? Cigarettes?. Overall, I rather like the shirt.

I've always wondered about that too Strider. Its a bit to small to be useful, IMO.

I suggested in the other thread to use it to carry the COW Challenge Coin but I think that's a bit to heavy.

From the picture you posted, Pitfall, it seems big enough to carry one thing: "Antidote".

I was thinking it was a good place to put water tablets. Put a few in contaminated water and it's drinkable.

Nice find on the shirt. They don't have them right now in Vegas but I'm sure that'll change after summer.

Actually, both water tablets and antidote are both good ideas. I guess in some way a water tablet could be considered an "antidote" to bad water! ha! :D

I have a feeling all the "closet" gear folks out there are going to catch on if they haven't already and these stores are going to get picked clean just like what happened with the Dillards pants! :D

Well I read the thread and this shirt was in the budget so I got one.
I like the shirt...But the collar seems a bit long for me.
Here's an example:

I tried recreating a TOD pose and the shirt just isn't doing it for me.
The lighting didn't do it for me either on the shot.
Maybe a cut lip and a few scratches would.
Any other good cheap shirts out there I should know about?

It's for your lucky zippo, so when the nasty Nazi in the truck shots you in the arm the zippo stops the bullet! I thought everybody knew that.

Yea, its a horrid pic, I don't even know why you posted it.

Just kidding man, that pics is very cool! 8) Your quite good with a camera.

I find the cut of the shirt a little too baggy for my liking, but for $25 I guess I can't complain.

 Hey doesn't inexpensive Jones look like those pre-production paintings for the Indy Character? Great pic BTW mate:)

Only from the neck up to the chin. Originally when Tom Selek couldn't take the part, I volunteered, but I was only 15 and my voice kept cracking when I said, "Snakes...Why'd it have to be SnAkeS?!"
