TOD and LC Jackets
I have read agent5's thread on the ultimate Raiders Jacket and it is fantastic, however I was wondering if anyone had done some similar research on the Temple and Crusade Jackets. Any info would be great (agent5 if your reading this your input is more than welcome) Thanks.

Jace, about the measures (of whatever detail of the jacket), just keep in mind that they were taken on Harrison Ford. The only real important thing is to calculate the right proportions in order to make the jacket look indyesque on your body. Those mesaures kindly posted by Agent5 just serve this aim.Tyrloch wrote:That's okay from a stat-point of view, but I was thinking more along the lines of the in-depth photo display with the close-ups & all, like Agent5 did with the Raiders jacket. It's one thing to know that the storm flap on the Ford's ToD jacket was 22.75" long, but how does that look?

I think this consideration must be a guideline for anyone who look for a real accurate jacket.
Erri,
That's exactly what I'm talking about. Knowing how far past the belt line the jacket should be is a lot more helpful than just a bunch of measurements. I'm not sure those measurements are even correct -- Length of stormflap 22.75"? The length of my stormflap is 22.25" & I'm only 5'5"! How tall is Ford, 5'7"?? He looks a lot taller than that!!

Mostly... pocket sizes. The "normal" ones are good for LC but not for Raiders nor ToD (I think).
For all the features about the Raiders jacket it's better if you have a look around in this section of the forum, I think we talked even too much about them
The standard Wested jacket is good for Last Crusade by the way (take also D-rings if you want a full LC jacket)

Would the measurements on this thread ( viewtopic.php?t=17593&highlight=inside+pocket+size ) be about right for the outside pockets on a Raiders or TOD jacket? Also, what are the measurements for the smaller inside pocket on the Raiders and TOD jackets? Thanks for the help.

There is already a pattern for the smaller Raiders pocket. Just ask for a the Raiders pocket. Measurements are nonsense unless your jacket is the exact same size as Fords. The history of the bigger (LC) pocket is: it's made that big so if people try to put a diary in there they can and invariably people try even on a Raiders jacket. (Sometimes to the point of damaging their jacket). I believe Peter is noe putting Raiders pockets on the Raiders jackets as standard again. People are just specifying them to be sure.Indiana Charles wrote:Would the measurements on this thread ( viewtopic.php?t=17593&highlight=inside+pocket+size ) be about right for the outside pockets on a Raiders or TOD jacket? As for the pocket placing on the TOD jackets some of the ones you see onscreen were made by a french company and the pocket placing is a little bit weird, if you want them to follow that get yourself a good screenshot or publicity photo and send that. Of the 3 films it seems the TOD jacket spec are less well researched. I believe left overs from Raiders were used too.
There is no smaller inside pocket, (unless you ask for a cell phone pocket). You can ask for a (standard) faced pocket or a minimally faced pocket also called a piped pocket.
You can see a cellphone pocket and a regular faced pocket on my www below.
