Tapered Sleeves?

I'm going to order my ToD jacket hopefully today, but wanted to make sure to get all the features that I wanted. What's the deal with tapered sleeves -- are they now the standard, or do you have to ask for them? Also, I read somewhere here on COW that Peter had done something with the back yoke of the jackets to prevent them from riding too far back. Did anyone else ever experience this? I have this problem with my current jacket -- it always seems to have to be adjusted, I have to pull the front down. My jacket must be at least 5-6 years old, so is this something that Peter now does to all his jackets? Or is it something else that needs to be asked for? I also want to try to get the underarm gussets -- when I raise my arms, my jacket becomes a mid-drift!!

I think Peter has made the tapered sleeves standard now. The Yoke on the jackets are also bigger now. It help the jacket ride in your shoulders like it should. The best thing to do is place your order over the phone and and discuss any issues with Peter. Its worth the price of a phone call to work the your problems out with the man. Good Luck! :D

I specificed the cuff opening on my TOD jacket and gave my bicep measurement.

I just asked for the sleeve to taper slightly to meet the cuff.

Personally I dont like the cuffs on my jackets to be oversized, and I find that most jackets are sized larger than what I need (I assume to fit a wider range of people)

I don't like a really large cuff opening either. That's why I want the tapered sleeves -- I just don't want to assume it's standard if it isn't! I suppose I'll take KT's advise & give Peter a call with all the exact measurments. I'm thinking of maybe ordering a bit oversized, since I read in another thread that it's possible to shrink the jacket back down in the dryer...

Remember we are several hours ahead of you over there when you ring. It's currently 6.40 in the evening! So better not call now.

I was just looking at a time zone chart -- I'm planning on calling when I get up tomorrow at 6AM. I'm making a list of options I want to ask for now -- so I don't forget anything once I get Peter on the phone!
