Hi Guys,
Can anyone point me in the right direction for the threads about removing the stitching under the side straps? My goat raiders jacket seems to be pulling in the said area and i think removing the stitching would lessen the risk of the leather tearing.
Thanks
Bullit

Just lift the side vent and you should be able to see the stitch, then cut it and pull the stitch through.
Done.
This sounds like something that can be done way too easily without any 'how to' pics or anything.

I've been hearing about this stitch since I first found this place, but I'm yet to find it on my Wested. Where exactly is the bloody thing?

You may not even have it.

It's a stitch that stops the side vents from opening. It's right there where the side vent ends and the action pleat begins.

I was more concerned about if people prefered with or without the stitch? Im giving serious thought to removing it.
Thanks

I must not then. If I took my side straps loose there would be nothing holding my action pleats closed.

Ive removed the stitching and it has cured the problem. I do have the elastic in the Jacket for the pleats, so they open and close freely and there's no longer any strain under the straps.
Bullit.
