I hate to be caught with this one "under fire!"

That's impressive. I wonder if he could make one that fires rubber bands? THAT would be cool!

That is a beautiful carving, but I have to admit, I have no clue what I'd do w/ such a thing...other than look at it and say, 'Ooh, pretty.' He did do a great job, and turned it into art. How odd...

:D Yeah...I saw it Merrick. It was a little segment on the "Collector's" show. What's really amazing is that theese guns can be broken down ect and that it even has functional wooden springs

Bink...I can send you a few aged rubber bands used by the Incas in their fertility rituals (dont's ask!) At only cost. I'll even throw in a set of steak knives for free:)

About 15 years ago my Uncle made a working replica of a 357 Magnum and bullets, out of wood.

No blue prints. He just disassembled the pistol and took exact measurements.

Mostly it’s just a conversation piece he keeps on display. It’s cool, but not much you can do with a wooden gun.

Oh, you mean like;

-Hey, tree. If you don't behave yourelf this could be you in just 24h of carving! How'd you like that? Nothing to say? That's what I thought... you... log you!

Like that? :D

Next episode: How to control wheat with a loaf of bread. 8)

Give a whole new meaning the phrase "Stick up"

"One false move and I'll fill ya full of splinters!"

"My gun won't fire!"
"Is it jammed?"
"No. It's Termites!"

Don't let the fire reach the ammo! It'll...uh...burn. :?

Because all the other goofballs have divets in them.

I don't think a gun like this would be of much use to major crime rings, though it may be useful for some splinter groups.

Saving up for that rubber band,

bink
