The Wested is a steal (Peter look away) whether you do the free postage or not, it is amazing value. Pics when you have worn it a bit please, out of the box it is good, a few weeks later it is great when it has conformed to your frame.

hey hunter ull love ur jacket and the first things ull notice are how light and thin it is, and.....the smell nothing like fresh leather. What specs did u get on ur jacket?

That's the first thing I noticed with my Wested is how light it is. I live in Vegas and I can wear "almost" year round. When it breaks the 90 degree mark is when I'll probably put it up. It keeps me warm but not hot.


Sorry to hijack the thread. Congrats on the jacket. post pix when it comes in. I'm thinking about a pant and shirt set from them as well.

I kept it pretty basic: The Raider style in Authentic Brown Lambskin with cotton body & satin sleeves, and the antique brass d-rings.

Although I had a hard time deciding between the raiders and the crusader jacket. But then I thought, if I like one (and I will) then I'll order the other a little later.

But before I order a second jacket I'll probably order a fedora. I wish my mother hadn't thrown out the one I had when I left for university.
