I wanted to start this thread early so everyone would have a chance to see it.
I'm gonna be going to Wested in about a month. Would anyone like me to ask Peter any particular questions or take and specific pictures?
Just post the requests here and I'll let you know how it went when I get back.

lol, already at the top of the list. I'm gonna try to get a few details from him. You guys think the production will order the jackets from him again?

Most definitley. They are a very well known and respected business in the film community. They did all the SW prequels and alot of Bond. I can see no reason why they wouldn't want THE Indy jacket back in action.

Hi Bruce!
I have a question I haven't really found a full answer to yet.
Why the extra inch on the ToD, and where did that info come from?
The way I understand it and have heard, all "todays Wested" jackets used in ToD were Raiders leftovers since they didn't have time to make new ones quick enough, hence the story of the French company still unknown to this day. From looking at the movie the jacket would seem a bit longer than the Raiders version, agreed. But then the jacket would have Raiders specs, right?
Did the measurement of one extra inch come from the Raiders jacket examined by _, and the ToD jacket with smaller cargo pockets made by the French company owned by Noel Howard and then comparing the two and their length? Thus, the gear community coming with influences to Wested on how long the ToD jacket should be. Or did Wested in fact produce a few jackets in time? If so, did they make the jacket a little longer to match Harrison more muscular build for the movie?
I guess the short version would be; How come the ToD jacket is said to be one inch longer and where is the info sourced from?
Regards,
Swindiana
