Hi all, I received my Magnoli shirt and pants a couple of days ago, and I have to say that I am very pleased with them. I wasn't sure if anyone had posted a picture of one of the shirts after a trip through the wash yet, so here are a few shots of mine. The vertical "pleats" in the shirt puckered wonderfully, and in my opinion it's looking spot on with the screen-used shirts.

Well, that's great to hear. And I am sure there wasn't any shrinking?
They look like fantastic shirts. :D

What color is it?

Hemingway - No shrinkage at all. And with the fabric softened up a bit, the shirt is twice as much a pleasure to wear.

Erri - The color is stone. In indoor lighting it looks a bit like the the TOD shirt as seen here:

But in outdoor light I'm pretty sure it'll look like the Cairo shirt:

And Mr. Magnoli, if you see this, my dad, who is in the sewing business, said that you need to tighten the tension on your blind hemmer.

Good tip on the Magnoli shirt. Do you think you'll be posting pics of both the shirt and pants being worn? There are no pics of the Magnoli pants being worn other than the demo pair on the website. Which style pants did you get? Cotton? Twill?
I'll post a picture of them together when I get a chance. I got the 120 wool pants in Mocha; and they are very nice too. I'm in a bit of a rush right now, so the pics will have to wait a bit.

No, no Wested shirt to compare it with I'm afraid. If it's any help, the shirt is about the same weight as a dress shirt; thin, but not see-through when you have it on. Very comfortable for a hot day, but at the same time I wouldn't want to drag behind a truck in it.

Pics to come as soon as this foggy weather breaks up.

Well, the fog won't break till Saturday, so I went ahead and got some indoor photos. The colors came out pretty warm here, but they still give a nice view of the contrast between the shirt and the pants. I'm quite pleased with them.

LOL, let's hope so.

Actually, you remember how you were saying a while back that you thought they should be straight and not scalloped? Well, that's how they are.

(I'm saying it because I realllyyy don't feel like getting dressed and fooling with the digital camera again  )
