Just placed my order for my 1st new hat since my Stetson years ago. I'm excited and a bit nervous, dont quite know how to explain this purchase to the 'other half'. I got the brown beaver of course, 7 3/4! I have an enormous
heed! "That boys heeds like sputnik, spherical, yet pointy in places" So I married..an....axe.......murderer..........
nevermind.

You're going to love the your new AB! As far as what to tell "the other half", I'm sure you'll think of something. Just don't wear the hat when you tell her in case she decides to replace the Raiders bash with a custom rolling pin one.

Gives new meaning to the phrase "center dent."
Congrats on your new purchase Obiwampa!

I'm most likely going to follow in your footsteps though, and buy a shirt from Magnoli very soon.
Good choice. You wont be dissapointed with the shirt, trust me. I've been wearing mine nonstop since it came. I want a whole closet full of these things. My goal is 7, one for each day of the week.
Steve just e-mailed me to find out if my head measurement was actually 7 3/4. Sometimes I have a hard time believing it myself. Apparently I need a 'special' x-large piece of felt.
I'm special.

Congratulations, Obiwampa, you are going to LOVE your AB. It's not only the best Indy hat I've ever owned, it's the best hat period!!

Well, I"m sure she buys stuff you wonder about, too. Isn't that what marriage is all about?

7 3/8 is considered big-headed? I wish I was a 7 3/8, its easier to find good hats in that size rather than 7 1/2.

"Heed, Move! Look at that gigantic cranium; it's like an orange on a toothpick. Go ahead, go upstairs and cry yourself asleep on your gigantic pillow."
Congratulations on the hat! I am sure that she'll learn to love it. I'm sure your enthusiasm will be contagious.
