Hey gang. I just wanted to post a shot of my Indy boots. No they are not Aldens, but I have been trodding around in these boots for 2 years and they are broken in PERFECTLY and extremely comfortable. They hold a great spit shine and have really distressed well. What do you think?

Those look nice, who makes them. They almost look like Doc Martens

They are Chippewa's with the toe cap. Pretty close to a Dr. Marten except for the sole. I like the Chippewa sole much better.

Yeah, those look great minus the cap toe, but that's fairly easy to overlook. Everything else is awsome. Colors great too.

Hey, I've got those boots. The only difference is that mine are oiled leather.

The color and appearance make up for the fact that theyhave the toe cap. Oh yeah...and the fact that they are not Aldens.

Killer boots man!

Yes, my boots are pretty much an exact copy of the WWII US Service shoe (type II). I think that's were Chippewa got the idea from. The Corcoran jump boot you desire is a little different. If you're interested in a pair drop me a PM or email. I sell them on my site.

I sell the WWII US Corcoran (Paratrooper) style boots as well as the WWII US Type II Service shoe.
My apologies on my site. I am still in the progress of adding the photos and the remaining inventory. Sometimes it's tough being a one man operation.

Can you give me more specs on those Chippewas? And if possible, post a pic of the service shoe. I might be interested in buying at some point.
Thanks from the newbie
