Hi!

Been browsing a while since I decided to order my wested. Thought I should join after the help I have foudn through this site. I've always wanted an Indy type jacket and though I'm not looking for accuracy (just want a good jacket), those Wested ones seem to have it all. I intend on using the jacket for normal use, when out on my studies (working on my PhD) and also when we're filming etc.

I will of course take loads of pics when she arrives.

Anyway, I have ordered the following:

INDY JACKET:
Height: 5\' 7 1/4\"
Chest: 42
Sleeve: 25
Jacket_Size: M
Jacket style: Raiders Jacket
Leather: Dark Brown - Lambskin
Lining / Zip: Cotton Silesia
Side Fastener: Anodised Black Rectangular Slider(buckle)
Jacket Quantity: 1

Requests:
-Under arm gusset
-X Stitching on side fasteners
-Original small collar
-press studs on storm flap

I assume a 42 regular would be best for my size? Please contact me if
any of this seems weird or wrong.

Extra measurements just in case they are useful:

I measured my arms from the shoulder to the 1st knuckle of my thumb.
Weight 13st
Waist 35\"
Collar 16 1/2\" inches
Armpit to thumb (1st knuckle) - 24\"

Welcome aboard! :)

Yes, I would think the regular would be of proper length. You could give them a measurement on how long you want it to be if you feel you need it though.

Hi,

I like the colour of the dk brown lamb, it's also not going to be worked really hard so should be fine. As for snow...not yet but we are in the SE. The Landrovers are all ready to go though! Bring it on!!

Welcome!

I would suggest that you measure the length around the largest part of your fist, then suggest a cuff opening about a quarter inch larger than that.

Then again I just dont like cuff openings to have much extra material. :)

I figure if it's custom you might as well make it as fitted as can be.

EDIT nevermind about the suggestion, I'm just late on the topic!

Congrats!

Welcome, guerillafilms! You'll love your jacket when it arrives! And if you have any concerns, just talk to Peter at Wested and he'll take good care of you.

Welcome!!! :)

PS: Did you have much snow on Friday the 25th Nov?
I attempted the journey up/down from Cornwall to visit my uncle - but gave up after walking home from work.

Hope the jacket is a purrrrrfect fit for ya.

We had a small amount of snow, nothing to scare the Landrovers. So far this winter has been lacking in bite! If your after a book we have actually just written one, 'Partizan Filmmaking'.
