Yeah, but they're just copies of the English pattern bag, essentially making them English in my eyes. Interesting to note that the Canadians used (I'm not sure about now) the Mk designation for gear as the British use.

Its the variation number (mark), ie variation 5, variation 6 and so on. There where different modifications mad to the bag over time.

Australians and South Africa also used the same model of respirator during WW2,not so much to copy but to make a uniform supply system for Commonwealth forces.

Oops forgot the Indian army,sorry to any Indian foprum viewers.
I actually have an Indian made MK6 Bag,and its very differant,it has not press snaps but rather sewn on buttons with hand sewn buttonholes
