I just won the these vintage luggage
stickers on Ebay.
I plan to place some of these on my vintage Gladstone bag.
I'm still on the lookout for luggage stickers from additional countries
(Peru, Egypt, India, ... well,
you get the picture.
).

Cool, congratulations! Ver ycool idea. Do you want to show your real travels or the "imagine-where-Indy-was"-thing?
I thought about the same thing, but first I have to find a proper bag.
An intersting source for these labels you find here:
http://www.vintagelabels.org
It's a great collection of airline-, hotel-labels, etc. Though I don't know if it looks good, if printed ...

Jens

Thanks Jens.
Yeah - I am interested in Indy's travel sites (and hoping someday I travel to each of these places also
).
Also, I am really going for the vintage look.
Thanks for the website - I found it a couple of weeks ago along with others during my search.
Best Regards,

Im sure if you print them off on a decent printer they would look fine. Printing it on a laser printer would be really good.

There are also packages of full-page label paper at your local office supply store made for use on a laser printer. I would think that if you print the vintage stickers on that label paper, they would look good, too.

Man ! I just wanted to ask where to find those, but it seems that there's always someone who's faster than me!
@Indy_Jens: If you search for a Gladstone-like bag you may should search for doctor-bags on ebay!

Cool site, but to bad they are all water marked.
Will take a bit of time in Photo Shop or Illustartor to clean them up.
This site has some more.

Spooky,
Did you see the vintage stickers at the gift shop of the Queen Mary? They had tons of them. They were reproductions, but they looked really good. I think Mojave may have picked some up.

I grabbed some of those up. They're slick. After seeing the vintage bags all dected out last Saturday Night in our private dining room, I was determined. Now I just need the old suitcase. I want to make this my "prop" suitcase. Get it the same size as my carry-on I take on the plane, and then line it with foam with cut outs the perfect size for the idol, cross, etc. That way it's easy to transport them and even easier taking it thru security at the airport.

That's a great idea Minnesota. Old luggage in good shape can be found on eBay for $20 and less. I learned that from Mojave. The Queen Mary was selling them for $170, no exaggeration.

I'm going to go ahead and say that I'm the guy to come to if you have questions about Vintage Luggage Labels. As you can see here...
I found that suitcase on ebay for about 60 bucks and was so excited when it arrived. Many of you say the Queen Mary Labels I made for everyone as well as the two bags that I brought to the Saturday Event. I have put together a website for everyone that has all the labels that I have, and they are available to all of you feel free to rightclick all of them.
I find that if you print them on full page sticker paper then cut them out and "SIMPLY" paint over them with a couple coats of Elmer's Glue. That's what I did for the bags that I brought and they made it from Milwaukee to Dallas to Long Beach and back so there to have it. Here is the link to the labels.... enjoy.

I've printed the ones from vintagelabels.com and the watermark really isn't that noticable. but I'm sure with a little work they could look even better.
