For all of those that like actions shots; here's a pic of me getting off the military transport after we loaded it up. I had my Wested on earlier in the day but decided to pack it up with the load going to Scotland.
As it was a cold and windy day, I grabbed my Navy G-1 for a replacement. I'm squatting down as I'm decending the aircraft steps and joking with some of the loadmasters that were snapping photos. Looks like I need to drop that 15 pounds I gained
I was supposed to fly on that plane, but the powers higher up decided to send me on a commercial flight out of LAX tomorrow.
Cheers,
Zeus

Yeah, it does look cold! Good thing you had that jacket there.
Sorry you can't make the QM!

If you're flying out of LAX tomorrow, be on the lookout for fedora clad people coming in for the QM summit. I wish you the best on your latest venture.

Thanks ITG !
I flew out on United International but did not see any Feds. Did not know there was a 45 min cut off for international flights; I thought I was just on a connecting flight to Chicago, then international to London Heathrow. So my luggage showed up two days later!
I made it to Lossiemouth, Scotland near Abeerdeen on the north east coast and am enjoying it very much. They are treating me like a King!
I'm the only one in a big old hotel that looks right out the Victorian 1890s! (it'd make a good movie set) The place is called The Stottfield and is one of the oldest in the city. It's great to be able to lounge about in the cigar lobby dressed in a vintage smoking jacket enjoying a glass of 13 year old Glenn Rothes scotch with a fine Cuban cigar.
Can't get pictures yet as I'm online at the local library.
I may be able to talk the staff into letting me upload pics.....
It's very cold and windy here, just a bit of sun in the midday. Great hat and coat weather! Been wearing my Dobb's Fifth Avenue with a London Fog overcoat everyday and geting a lot of strange looks. Maybe it's the goatee and ponytail ?
Cheers,
Zeus
