Need to know how to install a liner

Hi Guys, been a while since I posted.
I decided to do things the hard way and try to make my own hat(Yeah Marc, I finally got around to it.).
I'm making a combination Indy/Wolf2hawks original fedora and just finished up the brim last night(Blocked on a HatShapers 5 3/4 crown open block, pounced twice up to 1500 grit, singed once without completely setting the hat, myself, or any pets or property on fire, and like I said I cut the brim with a pair of scissors without screwing it up to badly). I have the information on doing the sweatband and the ribbon, but haven't found out how to install the liner.(Need to know how to do it without any too fancy of tools). I even did some dry bashing and I'm pretty happy with the results, and really want to get around to wearing it, plus this little project, and some leather projects I'm working on is really helping my blood pressure.

Any help you guys can give me would be greatly appreciated.--Wolf2Hawks

Haven't had a chance to take pics yet. I'm also getting ready to make a holster/gun belt and whip holder(Another Wolf2Hawks original) plus I have a few other surprises in store for you guys(Plus right at the moment I'm stuck with using a library computer, but I'm hopefully taking care of that problem too.

Need to talk!

Hey Wolf: :D you've gone where I'm hoping to go. I've done the removal and re-stitching of the sweatband, rebuilding of a bow and pouncing only to 600 grit but I have yet to block, iron, cut and figure out how in the world to singe? I wish there was a practical step by step book out there to help us amateurs..

Anyone know of one?

Warm Regards

On the singing part, go over to the Sterling Beaver saloon forum, (don't have the web address handy, just do a web search or I can get it to you later), Charlie has a real handy piece that goes into detail on singeing.
It goes into a better explanation than I can give. You use a light misting of alcohol(can't remember the name right off, but its sold in the paint supplies. Sorry just got off of work and my memory is a little fuzzy.) Make sure you don't get any large drops on your hat, it'll burn too long.
Hope this helps.
