Just thought I would post a bit of my gear. The Hat is a Disney Hat (i do want to upgrade, but the jacket is first priority) the whip is a whip my parents gave me when i was a kid, the holster is one of Todd's basic, the web belt is from Todd's and the satchel is from Noel Howard. I hope the link works.

Just to add a bit more info, I have one of the LL bean shirts, which is a great shirt, although the pleats are only on the pockets, but I didn't see the need to post the shirt pic, however if someone wants to see it i can put a pic up.

I started when I was about 9 when I first saw the Indy Stunt Show at MGM, I got a hat and never took it off, parents got the whipnot long after; I out grew the hat and at about 17 (now 24) got another hat, then the clover lighter (which I forgot to put in the pic) the the satchel and the holster and such. I found this site about two years ago and had a resurgence in my need for Indy Gear so to answer about two years, but as many others here I'm on a budget since I'm in school. Next on my list is a wested.

Nice Kev, though it always looks better on.
If I were you, I would darken up those unfinished edges on Todd's excellent holster (I have one too). I would use a bit of shoe polish. It works to 'age' the rest of the holster as well.
Enjoy!

I've been meaning to dress up my holster a bit and darking the edges is something I need to do and maybe put in some grooves. Thanks for the advice.

That's not a bad profile for a DP. Looks very LC there.
But HOLY COW that looks like my first whip...almost got a TWIN of that hanging out in the workshop...but that puppy of yours is in SERIOUS need of some TLC, like Pecards leather dressing, or you probably won't have it much longer. Looks like it's dry enough to come right apart. If you want to keep it, and actually do crack it, pick up some pecards, you can get a small tub pretty cheaply, and it will last a while. After the first work on that whip ***** a bunch of it up, anyway. If it's just used as a costume whip until you decide if you want to get another, you can probably leave it as is...but if you're cracking that, it needs lovin'.

J - you are absolutely correct, my whip needs serious TLC. That poor whip was abused for years and years, and it is now about 14 years old. I do plan on getting some pecards and giving the whip a little love, but I think now it will just be more for looks and memories than for cracking, although I did crack it on Halloween and it still has a thunderous pop. But seeing as it carries a lot of memories for me, I will give it a very deserved coat of pecards! Thanks for the response - Kev

Hey HJ, what kind of shoe polish did you use on your holster? Dark or a light brown? Thanks - Kev
