I just sent my yearly donation to the QM Summit, an AB Indy fedora. I sent one to the European Summit this year as well. Perhaps if Peter brings a Wested to donate, some lucky soul could have a good start on acquiring his/her Indy gear.
Now the main reason for this post is to just recognize that the run of felt that the donated hat came from is a shade darker than usual. This happens from time to time as this is part of the hat business shortcoming. There will be variations in dye color from run to run, although the same dye is used. The good news is, with time and sun, they will eventually look the same. Thanks, Fedora

I'm like a bad penny, I always turn up.
Wow I'd be shocked if I win another one this year.... the AB I won last year is still here on display in my room, and I wear it on the weekends while out and about.

Thanks Fedora!
That's very generous of you ... looking forward to seeing it.
By the way, did you hear I sat on mine?
Hehe - pretty funny 'cause my Dad saw me do it & commented, "Look out! ... What are you doing?"
Then he watched in amazement as it morphed back into shape with the slightest bit of help.
I don't plan to do it anymore ... but it was pretty fun I must say.
Best Regards,
