Hi, Does anyone remember a sci-fi western from the mid-90's called the Adventures of Brisco County, Jr ? This was a show that was introduced at the same time as the X-Files. It lasted a full season before Fox plugged the plug and replaced it with the World's Deadliest Car Crashes or Animals Eating Children or something or other. Anyway on the show, Bruce Campbell wore a tan leather jacket that I have been longing for a decade. It appears to be goatskin and is a single breasted, short vaquero style with lapels. Of course, the show jacket was custom made but I've never been able to find anything even remotely similar on the market. Have any of you guys seen anything even similar to this jacket anywhere? I'm assuming that someone out there knows this show and the jacket.

I remember the show but not the jacket.
I would not expect to see that style jacket on the market. Check Western re-enacting sites. They probably do the Mexican/vaquero style stuff.

I LOVED that show simply due to the 'hidden' adult humor. Some was quite blatent, but a lot was aimed at us older folks. (remember the one where they rode in the zepplin, the envelope completely encased in metal? Explaination? It was made of lead, and therfore a Lead Zepplin!' Groan.

Anyway, I do remember the jacket, and believe your description is dead on. I wonder if there's a site around that follows that show as closely as we do Indy? Probably! I bet if you could find some decent photos and send them to Peter, he may be able to re-create it for you.

I aquired every episode last year and watched them all. And i remmeber the jacket vividly. Fantastic show, but I've never seen a jacket similar to it.

Dre, where did you get copies? That was a great show and I have been hoping for dvd release buthave not seen one yet. TR47?
