Looks great even the thin jacket. 8)

Your bag strap could do with a chest level buckle to finish it off. But I suspect a MkVii is in your not too distant future!

Your Akubra looks great too.

You are all set for Halloween.

Best regards,

I wonder why the digital camera changes the color of things so much?

Thanks all

George - Did you put all that together just in the last MONTH??? That's a great job of getting there in a hurry! (Indy-On-A Budget, probably not, but Indy-On-A TimeTable, Yes Indeed! ;))

George,
Your gear looks good!
I like that holster also - nice border design.

So how long did it take you to assemble your gear?
Thanks for the nice pics.

P.S.> ... as I'm sure you've figured out by now - your search for more gear will never end. Welcome to the neverending quest.

I started to search/buy things around the first of October. I was convinced that this was 'just a costome' and didnt have to be screen accurate, however, the more I bought 'close-enoughs' the more I realized that it wasnt cutting it. So I finally broke down and bought the Akubra Deluxe, the Wested from a really nice guy from COW, the shirt from a thrift shop and the pants and shoes are new. I'm always looking for a deal but considering the gas I spent driving around looking for a deal and the time it took I could have bought the real deal twice over, oh well live and learn. I would have liked a better gas bag and shoulder strap but unless someone feels like overnighting one to me, I'll have to make do. Thats really my only regret. The Halloween partys in Detroit on Thursday so any COW members feel like hanging out , let me know (you may wanna load your revolver) lol

George

PS. I think I need darker pants
Anyone got an old gas bag and strap they wanna donate?

In the pics my shirt looks yellow and my pants look grey, I assure you they are not. Wonder why digital cams do that? Now I know why there's so much confusion about 'colors' of things on the forum, its the cams.

No, what I'm trying to say is that they are not that color at all. The shirt does have a twing of yellow but it's mostly tan. The pants are a muddy light brown and the web belt is just brown. It's weird.

Dude, that WWII rifle strap ROCKS. That thing is ridiculously cool, the way it turned out.

That rifle strap is a pretty cool idea. Belts are never long enough to make a strap.

(Still asking local Army Surplus places and trying to find a belt with a D shaped buckle for my Holster belt.

Well Done! GR8 Gear!
