Today I had the joy to see 3 westeds of different leather together.
lamb looks best to me, very close was the goat. And my pre cow was (after a treatment of anticque finish) just cool as ever

Wow, all look great.

Who's lamb is that? The pocket flaps and the cotton collar facing sugget it's quite an old one.

And the cowhide has serious zipper facings!

Just looking at the second picture I am sold on the goat...now if I could just save up the money I'd be set. Nice jackets, I am extremly jealous.

It was my lamb which I had Peter made 6 years ago, back in 1999. Now a friend of mine owe it.
Nick's goat looks really great, although the leather looks more smooth on the pictures than it is in real.

I hope You forgive me for this little experiment BreinederIndy, but I'm working seriously at the moment with the jackets and the term of screenaccuracy. I noticed the blue tint comming from the sky, cause the picture is taken in the shade. When extracting the blue You actually get some very good looking distressed jackets and I'm especially impressed by the cowhide. I once had one myself but had to give up on the distressing part. In the future I will be working with the lamb so I would really like to hear what Your lamb has been through? (distressing etc.)

Cheers

Ah, all makes sense now!

Nice work, and lot's of it. What did he do to get the sleeves to wrinkle up like that?

In your second picture you say the jacket on the right is goat. This appears to be the same jacket that you say is cow in the third picture. Am I right or do my eyes decieve me?

Sorry guys, double
of course, it's not a cow in the third picture but GOAT! ;My mistake.
He went into the shower with the goat and wrinkled the sleeves up as far as he could and let it dry after that. (and he did VERY FEW sandpaper and aceton work on it, too)

No problem man, I just thought that they looked awful similar for one to the cow. :D
