Dark brown wested.

I was jus wondering if there was anyway to lighten the color of a dark brown wested. Illinois

The only way I can think of right now, off the cuff, is applying alcohol or acetone, but it would be extremely difficult to do this evenly on the jacket's surface.
I wonder if leaving it out in the sun for a while may have a more "even" fading effect.

I've been told that would can make a leather darker, but you can't really make it lighter.
Might I ask why you want to lighten a dark brown jacket?

Pray very hard and for very long lengths of time.
No...seriously, the answer to your question is authentic lamb. No way you'll be able to lighten the color evenly on a the entire jacket (not sure why you'd want to or even think to consider it) so the only other way to get a lighter Wested is to have an authentic lamb.

Thought that it couldn't be done, just wonering. I do wish my jacket was a little lighter, it is darker than i thought. illinois
