I was watching raiders, the raven bar scene, and right after Marion hits indy, I saw a button hole at the vry top of the jacket. anyone else notice this? Illinois.

I need to re-watch it. Is it a throat latch location or a bit lower for a top button ?
Some era jackets have a snap at the neck and waist in addition to the full zipper.

Using the Wested on a motorcycle has caused me to wish for a throat latch!
and internal knit cuffs
and tapered sleeves
and snap down collar studs
and a zip-out liner
and.........etc....!

I think what you're seeing is a reflection off the leather in the storm flap.

No, it was a hole, i checked the rest of the bar scene and it was there, i zoomed in to double check. Illinois

Please state EXACTLY where this hole is located then so we can see it. I'm not seeing a hole anywhere.

On the top of the flap that covers the zipper. Illinois

The top of the storm flap is highlighted and below that is what I think you're talking about. What I see is a crease in the leather that has been made to look larger by shadow. That's it.

Yeah, I just see a crease too. Definately not a button hole IMO.
