Great boot got them used but the sell had only worn them 2-3 times, the sicker was still perfict on the sole!

Though I will say a bit big, (the half size thing) BUT problem easily solved, I hike a lot and I put "superfeet" insoles in my hiking boots (La Sportiva boots) . slipped a pair in and BLAM perfect fit!

Now before some one goes "they are ortho shoes you can't do this…" please read this email for Aldens...

Can I put sole inserts in these shoes? Such as super feet? (or some other
brand) Is this going to create any kind of problem? The shop I went to
said they have many customers that do put inserts in the shoes but
they do not know if it is possible or advised with the 405 as they are
ortho shoes.

There is nothing to prevent you from using any type of an insert with the 405 boot. Just keep in mind that any type of insert will fill up the boot to one degree or another, depending on the thickness of the insert.

All I got to say these boot rock! And the inserts makes them perfect!

Congratulations Ghost. :D

Can't use an insert in my Aldens - I ordered half-size small & mine fit like a glove which is cool.

They are great boots.
If yours are pumpkin-like in color & you want a darker shade (say more brown/burgandy) - try Brown Pecards. I use it to clear up scuff marks.
(however, some people like scuff marks).

Since I wear these EVERY DAY I kind of like to keep them half-way presentable (for work).
However, it is cool to know that they are rough and tumble boots that can take a beating.

Best Regards,
