I found this on Minnesota Jones' site. This is the Last Crusade fedora, as seen in the Chicago Museum of Science and Industry display. The resemblance to the DP Indy hat is scary. How come the prop and costume people couldn't keep the Raiders look?

A Dofman in Last Crusade?!
: If you notice...It was the Last Crusade.. That was the shape of Indy's Fedora. It is the Last Crusade, If your looking for a Raiders? Look at the Raiders of the Lost Ark, Fedora.. In the Making of the 3 ---Movies, they changed the style of the Fedora several times. They were many stunt men. And there were several Fedoras worn..through the 3 movies..Also it is what was donated to the Science and Industry Building in Chicago..!
That is my opinion only......

The thing is, the Raiders fedora was downright beautiful, this one looks like the pinch was an afterthought. I just can't understand why they couldn't keep that same look for each hat through all three films.

I wonder if one can look underneath the displayed hat and see if it really isn`t an imposter. With costume displays traveling sometimes I wonder if someone might just quickly substitute a close enough hat....I mean, look at how many people in the general public just think any brown fedora is an Indiana Jones hat. Everytime I go into a wax museum and they have Indy, it is always with a VERY lame substitute for a hat (sometimes even plastic ones or felt with teardrops, no bashes or sometimes no ribbons), whips (I have actually seen sticks with rope coiled on his hip) jackets ( I almost always see Top Gun jackets) and even bags( to which I have seen purses or American Eagle Military bags)
So they may not consider us die-hard sticklers to detail since the general public seems satified with close-enoughs. Meaning that it could very well be dorfman since it was billed as an official Indiana jones hat
Hmmmmmmm.

on A&E they said it was a stetson hat. If this is the case then the hat would be a temple of doom hat, not a last crusade. however looking at the two front dents they look triangular like the raiders bash-just needs a more tightly pronounced pinch in the front. however that jacket for sure is a last crusade just look at the press stud on the storm flaps.
