I have never noticed before the third on the list of HJ hats they have

Now available for the first time:

The original Herbert Johnson "The Poet" Fedora hat including white lining and burgundy crest!

This one is for the hardcore Indy Fans to make their very own Indy fedora.

Pre-order will take about 6 weeks, but it is worth waiting!

Does anyone has any information about this HJ? And what's the difference with the others?
And why the white linings cost much more than the white one?

mmh yeah i see. What still does worry me is the felts quality. I read recently of a vintage poet that Fedora bought. I think he said it has a certain percentage of beaver, that's maybe the reason why the old HJ's Poets were much better quality hats than the actual ones.

The best choice now, in the XXI century, is to buy a beaver AB! Since we (actually Fedora did) discovered that the original HJ rabbits had a % of beaver I think the beaver AB is even more felt-accurate than the HJ rabbit hats they sell now i guess. Am i wrong?

Thanks for the link, i nearly forgot about that topic.

The Poet is basic Indy fedora with out the demensional cut on the brim. The Poet has a 3" brim all the way around.

If I'm wrong someone jump in and correct me.
