Link might not be entirely safe for work. No nudity but the site has a reputation of posting most paparazzi shots. id rate it on a similar level as looking at the sun (uk tabloid) online.

I'm not so sure about that. Fedora said that the hat the individual wanted was to be a pork pie in design rather than Steve's tried and true fedora....as seen in these photos. :-k

Is it just me or does it look like he has very tiny hands??? :?

It is not just you. He is reportedly using a "hand" double for the hand shots on the sequel to the "Pirates of the Caribbean" movie, because he has feminine hands according to the tabloids. Some shots of that hat look rough like wool...

he has had that hat for a while, wore it while promoting Pirates 1. All evidence points to borsalino.

thin band, bound edge, wind trolley, and standard borsalino brown.

Borsalino produces a lot of hats without showing them in their catalogues! Weird!
If you look at their catalogues it seems they have just 3 or 4 kind of hats

Anonymous post in the blog below the pics:
No one mentioned the Freddy Kruger hat?
 :?

I was just thinking that was funny, since we were talking about whether it was an Indy...but check out Freddy's hat:

Other than the missing ribbon and the SUPERSQUEEZED pinch, that looks like a nice tall crowned Fedora of some sort. (Man, when I'm wrong, I go big...BIG! )

Maybe that was how Depp found out about the fedora since he was in the first Nightmare on Elm Street.

That's not really a typical picture of Freddy's lid. Do a search for actual movie pictures and you will see how much it looks like a TOD.

Can you imagine him showing up at Herbert Johnson's in London?

Hemingway, I know I saw a website 2 years ago that was exclusively devoted to Mr. Krueger, and had exact replicas of the hats, sweaters, and gloves from each movie. What I remember specifically was that the site said the hats were Borsalinos..............now, if I can just find the link............
