Is there any other way to steam the Brim without using a tea kettle?
Any idea will help.

You can use a steam iron, rest it on the butt, and as steam comes out, hold the hat a few inches over it.

There are those clothes steamers that they sell for about $10. Though I must state again that I am not a fan of steaming hats; though I can't see what damage steaming a brim would do.

Dry bashing an Akubra is a pain in the butt.

I side with the clothing iron, just hold it away from the felt and let the steam waft onto the felt.

Invest in a hand held steamer. You can always use it to stream wrinkles out of your clothes too. I have one that shoots out cool steam, or at least it will not burn your skin if it gets on you. Warm, but not hot. Fedora

I agree with Steve. You can get a portable Jiffy clothing steamer fairly cheap on ebay. It has a square bottom to be able to set it on a counter top, and small enough to be packe in ones suit case.

Cheers!
