Todd's HJ block vs. Replix HJ block

Howdy!
There has been much discussion about the apparent difference between the HJ Poets I get vs. the HJ Poets sold elsewhere. Many have suggested that there are HJ is using two different blocks for their Poets. After seeing the pictures posted by Pagey I began to wonder myself. I inquired with HJ about this, and according to HJ wholesale manager, there is ONE block shape for the Poet, period. But "photos don't lie", right?
I did an experiment with my camera to see if photography could account for the apperent difference. The photos below are of the SAME HAT. I simply adjusted my angle and distance. I did not move the hat, I did not change the lighting, and I did no manipulation of the photos afterward except to re-size the photos for a better comparison.
Photo 1 is roughly the angle of Fedora's photo and photo 2 is roughly the angle of Pagey's photo.
I will let you be the judge, but my opinion is that the hats I get are the same as the ones Replix gets.
