Hey, I was experimetning with mixing some slightly different colors today after reading the winter LLBean catalog.

The NH on the right is the current process. Grey/Tan. 4:3

The shirt on the right is a mix of Taupe/Grey, about 1:1.

Comments?

I've always thought the shirt color would best be shown if it were in contrast to the particular jacket you're wearing (like on a mannequin or at least draped over it), as well as the pants to give the eye a frame of reference. That way it's better to judge the overall 'look' since just viewing basically different shades of white with off-white/gray on it's own is really hard to do. :)

You're right. See if this helps some.

Unfortunely when contrasting against the darker jacket, the color tends to get washed out a little more.

I think that's what happend in the film a lot too. Great pic. It really brings home the look of the redying to see it in context.
