I just finished this whip today for Nick Lang, aka Pagey. It's my best attempt at making a whip like my 10 ft. Morgan, though this whip is 9 ft. It's made about as close to a Morgan I can get with an 8" spike for the handle, lead-loading in the butt, two bellies, two bolsters and the 12-plait overlay.

That is a fantastic looking whip and very accurate to the DM style. I might be interested in getting one of these myself. can you PM me with details of cost etc.

PS the IOAB I bought from you recently is doing great and cracks really well.

I take it that it is kangaroo and not the same price as the IOAB.

Hey Bufflehead,

Yes, this is a kangaroo hide whip. I know that I'm primarily known on this forum as the maker of the IOAB whips, but I do in fact make a full line of whips in cowhide, deerhide, and kangaroo at reasonable prices.

This whip is a touch more spendy than the IOAB whips; I charge $40 per plaited foot for 12 or 16-plait kangaroo hide whips, which still amounts to less than what Mark Allen charges for his kangaroo hide Indy whips.

Hey Adam,

I thought that it was kangaroo, but it didn't say that anywhere. I was just trying to get that verified. It looks great. It may not be an IOAB whip, but that is still a good price.
