Henry,
I am in total agreement with Molorom. Although it looks pretty nice in that pic, the lack of a fall on it is a dead giveaway for lesser craftmanship. And that being the case, there's no telling what else might be missing from it. I don't know have any idea what the asking price is, but I would look elsewhere. If you're looking for a really nice whip that most everyone can afford, take a look at Adam Winrich's website (
www.winrichwhips.com). A lot of the gearheads in this forum own one or more of his whips and can testify to his work and pricing. I bought a couple of whips off of Ebay and have regretted it ever since. Take your time and do some research before spending your money on something you'll wind up not wanting.
Best Regards,
Jay

I was gonna buy the brown version of that whip. I went for an Indy on A Budget whip instead. Couldn't be happier. I own two of Adam's whips and I have nothing but good things to say......except that it stings like #### when you hit yourself........duh.

My opinion as a newbie in whips and a whirich whips owner is that if you dont own 400$ or 600$ for a morgan or strain, and you are a novice and want to learn, well dont get that @#$% that sells in the internet, that cant be good, Adam can make for you a great whip for learning (and not only for learning also for advanced whipcrackers
)

PM Mr. Winrich.
He is very good. I think he's just as good as ANY mainstream whip-makers.
Check out his website as well.

I agree with Molorom about the issue with the whip not having a fall.
What the fall does is protect the leather in the end of the whip from the flexural stress that it gets when a whip is cracked. The way the whip in the picture is set up, you might find that you'll break strands in the point of the whip prematurely.
You might be able to put a fall on the whip yourself, or have someone else do it, provided the leather in the whip is strong. If you can, find out where the whip is made and who made it.

Hey Adam !
It's made out off cow-leather.
No Idea where it comes from?

Those are mass produced and the person who sells them knows nothing about them. I asked them if a fall could be put on before I got my IOAB and they said they didn't know anything about them and asked me not to ask them any technical questions. Go with Winrich, you will be sorry if you don't.

Yes you will,
Just save your cash and get one from
Winrich. He's extremely skilled. Dont waste your
time with others like that. If you buy that, you will
be sorry after that you spent any money on it at all.
Regards,
Adam
P.S.
Then how did you have plan on buying one off ebay?

Real Henry,
I see that you're in Germany, so using a money order might be difficult since you'd have to get it in US funds. I guess the whip you wanted to get was from somewhere in Europe so you could send a check in euros.
In the USA credit cards are pretty easy to get, though I don't know what it's like in Germany. It's also easy to start an account with PayPal which can use a checking account or a credit card.

I have used BidPay a couple of times for sending money orders to the US.
Works great and is quite easy!

I have received Western Union moneygrams from Denmark, Germany and France for bullwhips.
But alas, if you are a teen making just a few euros, well, thats another story...
