Hiya guys, I just reading the bumpf on the AB webpage and am curious about what a brown roan sweatband was and what it looked like and what the difference was between the sort of thing HJ and other hat makers use.

It's probably the best soft leather bands available, and is the best of any bands out there on off the shelf production hats. Regards! Michaelson

I am sorta wondering if it is a thick sheepskin. That would explain some of the softness of it.

Its similar to the band that Akubra uses, it just that it is made out of higher quality materials. It does its job quite well IMO. I know that's not the best description, but that is the only example I can thing of.

What is "bumpf?"

Having both Hervert johnson and the Adventurebilt. both sweatbands I like but Fedora's (AB ) sweatband I like better. I don't know if that helps.

Oh immensely, my first and only hat is an HJ. I plan on an AB in november timeish. Thanks dude.

Argh... ab I dunno what this hat has (and I own a beaver one lol) but every Indy fan loves them, even my best friend here in Salamanca who is also an Indy fan has ordered on, a rabbit one to be precise and ill post pics when he gets it, but hey remember to say how much more cool mine is

About the sweatband, well HJ isnt really a great hat and cant be compared to the AB in any aspect so go AB go! (as always defending the ab dunno why but its just like that )

Well I don't know about the HJ, or some others,but I do know that
the AB is a very soft leather ! One thing that is a plus for the AB is that you can have your initial punched in the sweatBand. That personalizes it!

Just my thoughts.... !!!
