Does anyone remember the "Jeeves and Wooster" TV series? And can anyone post a scene capture?

Indy's fedora!

Take a look! It's without a doubt a Herbert Johnson Poet. It's EXACTLY the same.

It's gray, probably the same one as that used in the Pan Am Clipper scene.

It's the only other time I've scene the exact same hat in the movies or on TV on anyone other than Ford and that Nazi in Raiders.

I remember the series. It is probably on dvd and someone should be able to post a screen cap.

Out of 50 pages of pics, I couldn't find a pic that you could actually SEE how Wooster's brown hat looked. I could only find this other shot of the grey.

I'd say thats and HJ. And I dare say it might have been styled by Swales, as it has a very Raider looking brim. It also looks to be the same color as the gray hat worn by Indy and the German.

I'm willing to bet that the bowler is an HJ, along with the fedora.

Man, I just can't believe that brim on Wooster's hat in the last pic. The shape and curve of it is so ridiculously Indy, it's not even funny. I wonder where the information would be found as to what hats they used.

Hey, isn't this how Indy Gear started? I don't know if I'd want to start "Wooster Gear". Someone might think I have a bad accent, and end up thinking I mean "Rooster Gear", and then...then we'd have people running around with things like THIS on their heads.

Wow! That is one awesome fedora! It almost looks, dare I say, taller than a Raiders fedora!? -Though that could be owing to the fact of a different wearer. There is some interesting reverse taper going on there as well. I think we have found a direct match. Perhaps investigating these hats might lead to some conclusive evidence as to their pedigree.

Correct me if I am wrong here. Isn't this the case with Fedora's AB hats? I am under the impression that his(Fedora) hats are quite pliable, making them quite easy to shape. My Akubra arrived quite stiff and needed daily use to become as 'comfortable' as it is today.

Remember that HJ claims, that the original ribbon was 50mm on the Poet? - Could be 50mm on the first hat shown...
